The moment we arrived at Uga Riva, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The greeting with traditional betel leaves and coconut pancakes immediately set the tone for our stay. Our Deluxe Room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views, making it a perfect retreat. The hotel grounds were immaculate, with a gorgeous pool that we loved. Special shoutout to the attentive staff who helped us arrange tuk-tuks for our outings. The food was delicious, particularly the prawn green Thai curry, although I found it a bit pricier than local spots. One downside—the rug in our room was a slipping hazard, and adjusting the shower temperature was tricky, leading to some unfortunate burns.

The property stands out with its pristine white design, which is quite a stunning sight as you enter. The Superior Double Room offered comfortable beds and scenic views that truly made for a relaxing getaway.
Accessing the hotel can be a bit tricky due to the rough unsealed roads, making it feel quite isolated, especially after heavy rains. In the room, the rug posed a slipping hazard, and the shower's temperature control was frustratingly finicky, potentially leading to burns.
